Outdoor Facilities
Camp Kingswood is full of outdoor features. There is a lot to see at camp, and there are many things to help you in your programming. Camp has some great views, quiet spots, and natural features. The camp is built on a glacial esker, which is the second highest point in the county. We over look a deep spring feed lake, we have a pond, swamp, and bog as well. We are in a hardwood forest and have some large open uncut fields as well.
We are developing new trails every year, and have the start of a great trail system. Part of our trails is an old cart way, some of the trails are in the woods, some in the field, and some near the bog, and pond.
There are many things you can use here at camp to help your program. We have a nice outdoor worship area that has a great east view of the lake. This space is also good for meetings, skits, and other activities. We have two campfire areas, and the beach is another campfire possibility. We currently have a vespers area that is being improved.
